About The Artists
 Janet Mercer
Owner-Operator, Stained Glass Artist and Glass Repairer
Janet Mercer is one of the two original founders of Eclipse Design Stained Glass and is now sole proprietor of Eclipse Design.
As a hobbyist it soon became evident that Janet had a natural aptitude for the art of stained glass. Half of the garage and the laundry room were soon converted into a studio and Eclipse Design was born. A two year apprenticeship at Abbey Stained Glass in Burlington helped to fine tune her skills.
Janet takes a personal interest in the design and construction of all of the custom orders that are commissioned at Eclipse Design Stained Glass Studio, as well as teaching the copper foil method and running the Thursday night workshops.
 Valerie Webster
Stained Glass Artist
Valerie Webster was originally taught by Janet at Abbey Stained Glass and joined Eclipse Design in the winter of 2002, in preparation for the opening of the new studio/retail outlet. Valerie has created many original designs in both stained glass and mosaics, and currently teaches the mosaic class for beginners.
 John Storey
Leaded Glass Restoration
John Storey has over 20 years experience and is well known and respected in the stained glass community for his works in both tradition lead and the more popular modern copper foil method. John joined the team at Eclipse Design three years ago, and with his expertise in leaded glass has made Eclipse Design a leader in restoration projects. John currently teaches the traditional leaded method.
 Kim Connell
Design Artist
Kim Connell is one of the original founders of Eclipse Design Stained Glass and her artistic talent has produced many original drawings that have been turned into beautiful Stained Glass Art. When the studio/retail outlet opened in the spring of 2003 Kim needed to explore other avenues and now lends her artistic talents on a part time basis to Eclipse Design.
